As part of the Strengthening Free and Independent Media in South Sudan (i-STREAM) project, CGCS has partnered with Internews to contribute to the development of legal professionals and free expression activists in order to improve media and communications law, regulation, advocacy, and policy in South Sudan. This program involves the recruitment of journalists, media professionals, academics, and media lawyers from South Sudan to participate in media law and policy events around the world, including the Annenberg-Oxford Summer Institute in Media Law and Policy, the CEU/Annenberg Summer University in Internet Governance, Civil Society, and Public Policy Advocacy, and the international rounds of the Price Media Law Moot Court Competition.
