Media and Development Report Released
"Media Matters: Perspectives on Advancing Governance & Development from the Global Forum for Media Development"
Internews and The Global Forum for Media Development (GFMD) collaborated with CGCS and the Annenberg School on the production of a post-conference Compendium to the 2005 Amman GFMD Conference. Titled "Media Matters: Perspectives on Advancing Governance & Development from the Global Forum for Media Development," the Compendium combines scholarly research and includes content related to the conference, "Bringing coherence and collaboration to the worldwide movement for open and independent media." The aim of the compendium is to provide global perspectives on media development from the practitioners’ perspectives.
