Monitoring and Evaluation

CGCS offers rigorous, theoretically-sound evaluations to organizations seeking to assess the impact of their development interventions, with particular expertise on projects that focus on media use to improve governance and accountability outcomes, increase political participation, and strengthen citizen voice. CGCS has designed and implemented programs to evaluate media development projects such as La Benevolencija’s reconciliation radio in Rwanda and the Fetzer Institute’s Kenyan anti-violence television series, and the Half the Sky movement. The Center has also worked with large media development organizations, such as BBC Media Action, to evaluate their overall influence and impact.
